Grow Your Track respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the app and how that information supports core features such as AI tools and in-app purchases.
Project Inputs
You may enter text such as genre, mood, energy, lyric direction, and lyrics. These inputs are used to generate lyric results inside the app.
Feedback (Optional)
If you use the in-app feedback feature, we receive the message text you submit. Providing personal information in feedback is optional.
The app requests microphone access only when you choose to record voice notes or vocal takes.
Audio recordings created in the app are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
When you use AI-powered features (such as lyrics generation), the text you enter is sent to our server and forwarded to OpenAI to generate a response.
We do not require you to provide personal identifying information such as your name or email address to use AI features.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in AI prompts.
OpenAI may retain API request data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and safety purposes. OpenAI does not use API data submitted through their API to train their models.
Grow Your Track offers optional in-app purchases that provide credits used for certain app features.
Payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Grow Your Track does not collect or store payment card numbers or other financial payment details.
When a purchase occurs, our server receives limited purchase verification data from Apple so that credits can be granted correctly and duplicate purchase processing can be prevented.

This information is used only to verify purchases and maintain accurate credit balances within the app.
To maintain credit balances without requiring user accounts, the app generates a random device identifier which is stored securely on your device.
This identifier may be sent with certain requests to our server so that purchases and credits can be associated with the correct device.
The identifier is randomly generated by the app and does not contain personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
This identifier is not used for tracking across third-party apps or services.
On-device storage
Projects, arrangements, lyrics, and recordings created in the app are stored locally on your device.
Server processing
Grow Your Track does not maintain user accounts and does not intentionally store user projects, lyrics, or audio recordings on our servers.
Limited operational data may be stored to support core functionality such as verifying in-app purchases and maintaining credit balances. This may include the device identifier and purchase verification information described above.
Operational logs
Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Replit. Like most hosting providers, server infrastructure may generate basic operational logs (such as request metadata or error logs) for reliability and security purposes. These logs are not used for advertising or tracking.
Grow Your Track does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not use analytics tracking SDKs.
If you choose to export or share audio using iOS sharing options, the shared content is sent through the services you select and becomes subject to those services’ privacy practices.
Grow Your Track is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this privacy policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
